My wife and I recently had the opportunity to attend a series on Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class through a scholarship offered by Jonas Elber. I always thought myself to be financially savvy having grown up with both my parents having business degree backgrounds, but in taking the course not only did I learn about consumer debt, but also how to make an effective every dollar budget, needs vs wants in our everyday life, and ways to effectively communicate about finances with my wife. Prior to the course, finances were a taboo subject between us, and something that I did on my own, but now we are not afraid to discuss this together and it has made our relationship much stronger and has made discussing money not a “scary thing.” We are currently working on erasing all consumer and student debt that we have and we are currently living like no one else, so we can live like no one else. I would highly recommend taking to Jonas about information to take this course! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!
